Automotive Integration is a Mega-trend

New energy vehicle electric drive system integration development has been a period of time, from the split drive unit, to simple physical integration, and now has moved towards the direction of all-in-one intelligent integration and standardized platform.

There are different schemes for the integration of electric drive, including (1) "two-in-one" scheme, i.e., motor + reducer; (2) "three-in-one" scheme, i.e., motor + reducer + motor controller and (3) "multi-in-one "scheme, which contains the motor, reducer, motor controller, charger, AC and DC converter, high-voltage distribution box and part of the vehicle controller. From the current market application situation, the "three-in-one" electric drive assembly program has become mainstream.

In a "3-in-1" electric drive system, the motor, controller and gearbox can share a part of the housing, reducing the number of transmission components. The benefits are obvious: reduced system weight, reduced system size, and increased power density of the electric drive system. After the number of electric drive unit components is reduced, the overall durability of the system is greatly improved, the system NVH value can also be effectively controlled to reduce manufacturing costs, but also conducive to vehicle companies for assembly and production.
